Do you currently have a safety system for your fleet of telehandlers?
At GKD, we have a dedicated telehandler safety system, the Series 2-TH, which provides real-time height monitoring to improve safety for all types of telehandler.
What is it designed for?
It is ideal for use when telehandlers are operating in restricted or confined spaces, like underneath power lines, or while conducting lifting operations into buildings. The Series 2-TH is self-explanatory and operator-friendly through the use of simple graphical interfaces and touch screen controls.
How does it work?
The telehandler height limiter works by continually measuring the angle of the boom, along with the length of the extension of the telescopic section. This constant monitoring ensures that height limits are not exceeded.
The machine operator can manually set the telehandler height limits, or they can be set automatically by positioning the machine equipment at the required height.
What is shown on the display?
The display shows the current configuration of the machine, including:
- Current status
- Current set height limit (in metres)
- Approach to height limit (graphical)
- Current boom extension (in metres)
- Maximum extension limit (in metres)
