Next up, we’ve got our Chief Executive Officer, David!
What’s your name, job title and how long have you been at GKD?
Hi, I’m David, the CEO at GKD. I’ve been here for around 10 months now, having started at the beginning of January.
Before you joined GKD where did you work / what did you do?
My previous role was as the CEO of NormCyber, who offer cyber security as a service for SMEs. A few years before that, I lived and worked in the USA for 6 years (in New York and Chicago).
What do you like about your job?
The daily challenges and building something to be proud of.
What are you looking forward to over the next six months?
I’m looking forward to furthering our international expansion and helping build a safer environment for our customers.
Tell us about those phrases you picked to describe yourself!
Loves travelling – I once spent 9 months travelling the world. This included 6 continuous days on the trans-Siberian express before going to Everest base camp in Tibet!
Bilingual – I’m half Spanish and was born in Madrid.
Sports fan – I support the New York Mets and Leicester City FC.
